Wunsch Family Foundation Receives Grant from Garth Brooks
The Wunsch Family Foundation is proud to announce receiving a $10,000 grant award from the Garth Brooks Teammates for Kids Foundation. This honor designates the Wunsch Family Foundation as an exemplary Foundation due to its efforts to make a sustainable difference in the communities it serves.
The Wunsch Family Foundation is a 501-c-3 non-profit organization located in Tampa, Florida. It provides children with cancer and chronic blood disorders emotional, motivational, and memorable experiences through supportive and empowering opportunities.
The grant will specifically be used to fund the Circle of Friends Summer Reunion in 2008. The trip, taking place in St. Petersburg, Florida, will allow children that attended the previous two Winter Week trips the opportunity to renew old bonds and create new friendships.
The Garth Brooks Teammates for Kids Foundation awards grants in the following areas; health, education and inner-city needs. The Wunsch Family Foundation feels it is quite an honor to be given this recognition and accepted the grant to allow us to continue to meet our goal of warming the heart of a child!
